I have published over 60 first-author peer-reviewed publications in high 'impact-factor' journals, including recent publications in the Lancet, 'Medicine Science and the Law' and the British Medical Journal. I have an international reputation as an academic psychiatrist in the field of psychological medicine.

I have received recognition by the award of a Doctorate of Medicine from Cambridge University that has won the Ralph Noble Prize. I frequently present my research at international conference. My research has attracted the interest of the Media and I have shown the ability to communicate medical information to lay-people through recent interviews in the national press.
